1.Who we are

Island Wheels is a trade name (DBA) of The Media Boost LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA (filing ID 2020-000897831), with its registered address at 1603 Capitol Ave Ste 310, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001. In these terms, "Island Wheels", "we" and "us" mean The Media Boost LLC, doing business as Island Wheels. "You" means the person making the booking.

2.What Island Wheels does

Island Wheels is an online platform that helps you compare and book rental cars from independent, locally based rental companies. Island Wheels doesn't own any cars and doesn't rent cars out itself.

When you book, your rental agreement is with the rental company named on the car's page, not with Island Wheels. The rental company is responsible for the car, its condition, insurance, the security deposit and the handover.

3.Who can book

To book through Island Wheels you must:

• be old enough to meet the rental company's age requirement, shown on every car
• hold a valid driver's licence
• give accurate details about yourself and every driver
• have the payment card or method the rental company asks for at pickup

The rental company can refuse to hand over the car if these requirements are not met. In that case, the cancellation terms in section 7 apply.

4.Prices

Each car's page shows the price per day, the total price, what is included, optional protection and extras, the security deposit and the rental company's conditions.

Prices are set by the rental companies. Availability and the final price are confirmed at checkout. Car photos are examples. You are booking a car category, and the rental company may provide a similar model.

5.How payment works

Your payment is split in two:

• Online, when you book: you pay Island Wheels a reservation fee. This amount is shown at checkout as the amount to pay today. It confirms your booking.
• At pickup: you pay the rest of the rental price, plus any extras or protection you chose, directly to the rental company.

The rental company also takes a security deposit at pickup, usually on a credit card. The amount is shown on the car's page. The deposit is held and returned by the rental company under its own terms, not by Island Wheels.

We use Stripe to handle online payments safely.

6.Your confirmation

After payment, you receive a booking code by email. Keep it: you need it at pickup and to manage your booking. Your booking is only confirmed once you receive this code.

7.Changes and cancellations

You can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before your pickup time and get your reservation fee back in full. If you cancel later, or do not show up, the reservation fee is not refunded. The same rule applies to every rental company on Island Wheels. See our Cancellation Policy for details.

To change or cancel a booking, use Manage booking on our website or contact us with your booking code.

8.Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• give correct and complete information when booking
• bring your driver's licence, passport or ID, and booking code to pickup
• follow the rental company's rental agreement and local traffic laws
• return the car on time, at the agreed place, and in the condition required by the rental company

Any damage, fines, tolls, fuel charges or late-return fees are settled between you and the rental company under its rental agreement.

9.Insurance and protection

What is covered depends on the rental company and the protection option you choose. Each car's page shows the options and how they affect your security deposit. Read the rental company's terms carefully. If you are unsure, ask us or the rental company before you book.

10.Our responsibility

We take care of running the booking platform with reasonable care, showing the information rental companies give us, and processing your booking and reservation fee correctly.

Things outside our control:

• the condition, safety or availability of a car at pickup
• the rental company's actions, decisions or charges
• losses caused by incorrect information you gave us
• events such as storms, strikes or system outages

If something goes wrong with your rental, contact us. We will help you contact the rental company and try to find a solution.

As far as the law allows, the most we can owe you for a booking is the reservation fee you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

11.Right of withdrawal (EU travelers)

If you live in the European Union, note that car rental bookings for specific dates are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law. Cancellations are handled under section 7 instead.

12.Reviews and ratings

Ratings shown for rental companies come from Google. Reviews you leave must be honest and based on your own experience.

13.Using our website

Please do not misuse the website, for example by trying to access it in unauthorized ways, collecting data from it automatically, or making false bookings. The text, design and logo of Island Wheels belong to us.

14.Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15.Complaints

Unhappy with something? Email info@rentislandwheels.com with your booking code. We aim to reply within 3 working days. If the complaint is about the rental company, we pass it on and help you follow it up.

16.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you made your booking applies to that booking.

17.Applicable law

Wyoming law (USA) applies to these terms, and any dispute is handled by a state or federal court in Wyoming. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep any protections that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded.
