Cancellation Policy
One rule for every car on Island Wheels: cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before your pickup time.
Key points
- Cancel 72 hours or more before pickup: your reservation fee is refunded in full.
- Cancel later, or don't show up: the reservation fee is not refunded.
- Nothing else is ever charged for cancelling.
How to cancel
Use Manage booking on our website with your email address, last name and booking code. You can also email info@rentislandwheels.com or message us on WhatsApp at +5999 699-2666.
Your cancellation time is the moment we receive your request. The 72 hours are counted back from your pickup date and time, in Curaçao time.
What you get back
Your booking has two parts, and each is handled separately.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used, usually within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
No-shows
If you don't pick up the car and didn't cancel at least 72 hours before your pickup time, your booking counts as a no-show. You lose the reservation fee. Nothing else is charged.
Flight delayed? Let us or the rental company know before your pickup time. A late arrival you tell us about is not a no-show.
Changing your booking
To change your dates, pickup location or car, contact us with your booking code. Changes depend on availability and the rental company's terms. If the price changes, we tell you before anything is changed.
If the rental company cancels
If the rental company can't provide your car, we let you know as soon as possible and try to offer a similar car from another local company. If you don't accept an alternative, your reservation fee is refunded in full.
Returning the car early
If you return the car early, the rental company decides whether any unused days are refunded.
